BluePeak is proud to announce our continued support and commitment to Carson Tahoe Health Foundation's HopeFest 9—a one-night-only, summer celebration of life, hope, and healing—funds the Cancer Resource Center for the entire year. This year's event will be held on August 23, 2019 from 6pm to 9pm at the Carson Tahoe Health regional medical center.
While the impact of the Cancer Resource Center should never be measured in dollars alone, since 2006 the Carson Tahoe Health Foundation has provided over $980,000 in direct patient support—grocery vouchers, gas cards to reach treatment centers, and assistance with rent and utilities for those facing cancer. The Foundation has also provided over 13,500 restful nights in its Merriner Cottages to patients and their families. While there is no-cost for them, this amounts to over $1,080,000 in lodging assistance.
